No. It does not. The right of the people is separate from a well regulated Militia. Even if the people are not in a well-regulated Militia, they still have the God-given Right to keep and bear Arms. Remember, that in Law, capitalization is very important. In this case, 'rights' mean 'privileges', and 'Rights' mean 'God-given Rights'. 'We the People' means the 'Congress of the united States of America' Some questions then: What do these mean? well regulated Militia: Militia: militia: Arms: arms: It doesn't matter which way the USCONstitution wishes to go. If they wish to capitalize or not-capitalize a word they define when they describe a privilege, because when they go one way with the privilege, we can go the other way with the God-given Right. They cannot have it both ways. It is Congress that tries to confuse things and begin bending the rules of the English language, even their own definitions, and our God-given Rights. Why? Perhaps because they are dominated by lawyers/attornies? or does it mean everyone regardless of wether they are in a > Militia or not? That is correct. It means 'everyone regardless of whether they are in a Militia or not'. The word 'people' in the 2nd Article of the Bill of Lost Rights is not capitalized, whereas, the word 'People' in the Preamble to the USCON, is capitalized, meaning 'Congress', not the people. The people are not 'of the United States'. We are of God, our Creator.
